Protect and restore healthy populations of ocean wildlife through the creation of Marine Safe Zones at the state, national and international levels.
Stem the Tide of Toxic Chemicals
Ten-Year Objective:
Begin reducing environmental disease by phasing out ten of the most dangerous families of toxic chemicals now found in consumer products.
Create the Clean Energy Future
Ten-Year Objective:
Transform the economy so 20 percent of U.S. energy comes from renewable sources and our buildings, communities and vehicles are 20 percent more energy-efficient.
Save Wildlife and Wild Places
Ten-Year Objective:
Win permanent protection of endangered wild regions that surround and encompass NRDC BioGems -- unspoiled ecosystems threatened by development.
Accelerate the Greening of China
